Grind Groups gather business-minded women who are serious about finishing what they say they’re going to do. Whether it’s starting a business, writing a book, creating a website, getting certified, executing a marketing plan, or creating a new product, Grind Groups teach you how to achieve laser focus and implement your plans.
"I quit my job.."
In 2014 I was living in Utah and hating it (As anyone in their right mind would)! My job was okay, but I had these grand ideas about starting a business. First on my list was a hair supplement company. I'd come home at 5:30pm, eat dinner, and then fire up my Lenova computer to work on my new company from 7-11pm every single night. In the morning I'd clock in and do my best to sneak a few extra hours on my side hustle while on the clock. #guilty
I was so frustrated every minute that I worked my 9-5! It felt like each second spent in my cubicle was keeping me from the millions I could make if I was working on my own thing! After 5 months of pulling double duty, I couldn't let my job get in the way of my dream anymore. So I began to aggressively save. Within a year I had enough stashed away to quit my job so I could work on my company full-time! FINALLY, I could devote myself to entrepreneurship, right?
I became a meme queen. I spent hours scrolling through instagram and engaging in Facebook groups. I read articles, watched videos, and ate. LAWD I could eat! I researched a million things, organized my closet, watched HGTV, and learned to make logos. Basically I did everything, but the actually work. Even though I had all the time in the world to work on my hair supplement business, I couldn't actually focus on completing a task that made a difference. In fact I'd spend a week working on something that used to take me from 7-11pm when I had a full-time job! EEEK!
It's funny, huh? How is it that we can do work for other people, but struggle to work for ourselves?
Have you experienced something similar? Maybe it's not a business idea but perhaps there's a book you'd like to write, a website you'd like to create, or a skill you'd like to learn? You've spent time gathering all the tools, invested in training, and re-arranged your schedule, but the thing hasn't been touched. Sure, there are valid reasons to delay or rethink your new venture, but how do you move past the excuses and turn your dreams, plans, and goals into something tangible?
The answer is ACTION.
I'm Dayo Adiatu, the founder of Grind Groups. For years I have met brilliant women who are thriving in their careers, caring for beautiful families, or enjoying a prosperous social life, and yet they all have this one thing in common. They have an idea, an itch, or that nagging desire to put something out in the world. It might be a book, a business, or a life shift. The thing that’s keeping them from actually doing ranges from fear, a crazy schedule, poor self-management skills, or simply a lack self-discipline. That means instead of your new book, nonprofit, or product, the world is filled with more half finished projects, stagnant LLCs, unwatched online courses, half-hearted launches, unmade pitches, and missed opportunities.
That’s where Grind Groups come in.
Grind Groups help you DO. We use scientifically proven methodologies to help our members get clear, beat procrastination, and make consistent progress on their goals. Whether it’s writing a book, finishing a website, getting certified, launching a new service, or creating a new product. Grind Groups can help you make progress. Keep scrolling to learn how.
Real People, Meeting In Real Time, For Real Results
Grind Groups gather 5-6 women into cohorts. Each cohort meets daily for 1 month to work together via webcam on a pre-defined project. Projects are tracked by a group leader using the SCRUM methodology to ensure progress, accountability, and execution.
How Can Grind Groups Help Me?
Grind Groups are about implementation, shared resources, and community. Our members range from women who have completed their life coaching certification, podcasters who are drafting pitch decks for sponsorships ($$$), women launching personal brands, ladies who are creating challenges and courses, writing books, learning a language, or simply just segmenting an email list to achieve better conversions. This is not just a group. It’s a sisterhood of heart-centered women who want to see each other win.

So you’ll have access to all the best resources our community has contributed. It’s group economics. We were thinking of you before you even joined!
Do you know anyone in real life doing what you're doing? A friend? Aunt? Parent? Is there someone you can call for advice when your launch yields no sales? Do you have a friend to review your ad copy or ask if you finished the training you purchased? It's time to let go of this myth of self-sufficiency and join a tribe of women who you can be vulnerable with! Ask your questions. Share your resources. Find your business bestie!
We're passionate about helping YOU achieve! Whether during our daily call, the weekly Office Hours, or by sharing access to over 20 tools (that we pay for), our goal to help you succeed. Gone is the crab in the bucket analogy. Let's be here for each other.
In the membership site, you'll have access to 20+ online tools, legal templates, action plans, video training, 100's of Facebook ad examples, opt-ins, how-to's interviews, and MORE. The resources grow every month with each cohort.

MEET YOUR MENTOR
Hi, I'm Dayo!
I help business-minded women clarify their vision, execute on their goals, and focus on creating their dreams.
I run a 6-figure Marketing Agency and blog about creating a meaningful business via TheSixof7.com. In my previous work I managed the marketing for a consulting company, launched 2 memberships sites and was the SCRUM Master (basically a project manager) for the launch of an online management software.
I've always felt that I could do anything I set my mind to. Sounds good right? Nah, not really. Possibility is overwhelming. But here's what I figure. If I can help hundreds of women like you, complete their dream projects, then it's kind of like I completed 100's of projects too right? Overwhelm eliminated!
All jokes aside, I'm resourceful. I'm productive. I'm sharp. I created Grind Groups to combine my love of black women and joy building. Build wealth, build a legacy, build whatever brings you more joy. Let me help.
What Is A Grind Group?
A Grind Group is a group of up to 6 people who come together regularly to work on a project. The goal is to create a community of people who are working together toward success. Whether you're starting a business, writing a book, or planning an event, Grind Groups helps you to turn all those creative juices into something tangible. It's all about support, progress, and most importantly results.
What Happens During A Meeting?
We use the SCRUM methodology during our meetings. The group leader will spend 10 minutes to ask each individual what they completed the day before, what they will work on that day, and what may be slowing their progress. This is followed by focused work and then 10 minutes of reflection and community building.
What Kind of Project Can I Do?
You can work on your book, write a blog, learn a language, build a new funnel, design a website, write grant applications, flesh out a launch, or just get your shit together. The goal is to find time during the day that is dedicated to the execution of something YOU want to do.
How Many Members Are In A Group?
For the sake of efficiency, Grind Groups are limited to 6 members in each cohort. You'll get a chance to get to know your cohort and their projects more intimately this way.
How Long Is A Cohort?
Cohorts last for 1 month. You must manually renew your registration every month.
Does It Matter Where I Live?
Right now we have 3 cohorts. 5am EST (Early Bird), 9:30pm EST (Night Owl), 11am EST (Weekend). If you can join us at that time you are welcome! Look out for other cohorts beginning soon in different time zones.
Wait, Most Mastermind Programs are around $10K. Why Is This So Reasonably Priced?
Women don't get many chances to work together, trust each other, or help each other. That's why we've worked hard to price the program at a range that many women can access. While we understand that most programs of this caliber cost must more, by mentoring and sponsoring our Grind Group Members we hope to foster a community of creative and entrepreneurial women who lift one another up.
Why So Early? That's Early AF!
The single biggest reason why most people never achieve what they want is that they neglect to take the time to work out what they want and work out how they are going to make it happen! Early Morning is the time before the world distracts you, discourages you, or asks of you. This is YOUR time to get ish done!
I Love This Idea, But I Legit Can't Do 5am :(
I realize that there are some people who work very early in the morning or are legit night owls. We now offer "Night Owl" and "Weekend" cohorts geared towards evening workers and overseas participants. You can join these sessions! If you're interested in another time zone email me at contact [at] grindgroups.com
